However strong demand from users for the themes to use the more popular and feature packed WooCommerce has compelled Templatic to provide compatibility with this ecommerce plugin. All Templatic ecommerce themes now have the option to use their own built-in ecommerce system or the WooCommerce plugin.

WooCommerce is a free ecommerce plugin from WooThemes which after a controversial beginning a year ago has become one of the most popular and arguably the best WordPress ecommerce plugin available. WooCommerce currently has 160 official extensions, and lots of other third party extensions and WooCommerce compatible themes being developed by various developers.

Templatic is offering a discount on all their ecommerce themes for the next week. Standard versions have been reduced to $45 (normally $65), and the Developer version to $79 (normally $99).
