Elegant Themes have announced they will be raising the price of their base subscription from $39 to $69 for new customers next week. If you signup for a personal membership now you will be locked in to the current $39 price for life. A personal $39 membership gives you complete access to all their premium WordPress themes (currently 87 themes including the fantastic Divi theme), updates and support – which is an incredible deal!
The price increase doesn’t affect existing customers, or the Developer Subscription package which remains at the current price of $89.
As explained by Elegant Themes they are “raising prices to ensure sustainability and efficiency”. They are looking to expand their team and add more developers which will improve the employee to customer ratio and lead to better tech support and a faster turnaround on bug fixes and theme improvements. The small price increase for better support, better themes and great sustainability should be a welcome move for all Elegant Themes members.
