  1. I would love to see a well executed e-commerce theme. There are a few e-commerce themes and plugins out there for WordPress, but my clients, who have basic knowledge of WordPress, find them too complicated and confusing to self manage. I don’t think anyone is yet to marry WordPress and e-commerce in a way that is user-friendly for those who are not highly WordPress savvy. I really like the clean and elegant designs on RichWP and would be keen interested to see what kind of e-commerce solution he could come up with. Seamless PayPal integration into such a theme would be highly desirable!

  2. It would be very nice to have a product manager feature in a Premium WordPress theme!

  3. I’d really love to see a native WP MU premium theme.

  4. I’m looking for something that looks clean, colorful and sexy – like a beauty magazine website, but also has plenty of placements for AdSense and affiliate banner ads.

  5. I would love to see make money online wordpress theme. The theme with smart beckend. Integrated with plugin to optimize make money blogging such how you can chide affiliate link automatically, manage rotated banner , easily add customize header logo (for image base or text base) directly from theme option.

The theme have an option to automatically show twitter update since twitter become one of faster growing social media for marketing tools. theme have option to make it looks on blog style or portfolio style. user can change it easily. with smart sidebar can switch to right or left side by one click.

also have featured section that can make the ‘take more attention to this post’, make post terribly sticky and eyecatching. integrated with welcome greeting plugin for first commenter and auto re-direct to subscribes page (different with general page with additional custom layout).

Make it powerful so you can tell to everybody ‘Hey, you wanna rich like me? here is your theme :D!’

  6. For a WordPress theme to be premium it really needs to have functions and features that set it apart from all the free themes, some of which are really very good these days. I would say it needs to have a superior design, superior coding, and superior features at the back end.

I would like to see a high quality multi-purpose clean magazine style theme which can also be easily used as a professional blog. It should be a unique design, not the same as all the “magazine style” theme we see now which all pretty much look very similar.

I think the main features that should be built into this premium theme is a quality feature set on the backend which makes it easy to manage and customize common elements in the theme – such as ad placements, custom code, alternative color schemes or layout option, feed burner code, easily select which pages or categories appear in the nav bar, automatic thumbnail generation, easily upload custom logo etc etc.

Its these sort of things that set apart a premium theme from a free theme and what I would love to see from RichWP.

  7. My suggestion is a theme to make a WordPress site not look like a WordPress blog or a WordPress site. Would be great to have a unique theme that could be used as a CMS or a magazine.

A also agree that a premium theme should have some premium features on the back end.

  8. Hi, sorry for my english. I would like registereds could to post with photos by a form no bay the usual back end editor. Seemed the free ads websites.

    Thanks.

  9. Hi ,

I would like to see more professionally designed theme with awesome AJAX feature and should load at lightening fast. The Theme should help user a more interactive one in the sense the components of the theme should be arranged in such a way , it make s easy navigation for the user/visitor.

It would also be nice if many features are implemented in a single plugin and theme customization is made easy for the one who implements the theme.

    Cheers !

  10. I would love to see a WP template for a review and compare website of products and/or services.

The review articles should be stacked as usual in the WP style.
But comparison of products or services should be side-by-side in columns. A matrix.

One column for each product or service.
One row for each attribute/feature of a product or service.
    And vice versa.

It should be possible to place these columns either underneath or between the review articles (product/services in rows), and definitely next to the review articles (product/services in columns).

The maximum number of columns and rows should be controllable from the back-end. As should the positioning of the columns.
The minimum should always be 2 products/services, for obvious reasons.
Attributes of products/services should be groupable, also from the back-end.

At the front-end, only registered, visitors should be able to
re-arrange the order of entire columns or entire rows by dragging.
Re-arranging should only be possible at product/service level.
So for example to compare products 1 and 5 next to each other, without products 2 – 4 “interfering”.
They should also have the opportunity to hide entire columns and entire rows, with at least 2 products/services remaining.
It shouldn’t matter whether these columns and rows contain products/services or their attributes.
It should also be possible to close and open attribute groups.

(Cloacked affiliate) links should be possible in each cell.

Finally, of each product a count should be kept of each click through to the product’s/service’s website. (Popularity)
The entire column or row containing the most popular product, should be accentuated by “raising” it a little off the page, and make it somewhat taller at the top and bottom.

If we are also allowed to pick a name for the theme, I would suggest : Dare To Compare.

I like winning so don’t disappoint me.
    TIA,
    Robert

  11. and definitely next to the review articles (product/services in columns).
    should be :
and definitely next to the review articles (only with products/services per column).

As should the positioning of the columns.
    should be :
As should the placement on the page of the columns. Under, between, or next to the review articles.

    Robert

  12. Hi All,

    Today I heard that I’m a winner.
    I am very happy.
I’ve chosen to wait until Felix’s newest theme will be released, and go for that one as the prize.
(Approximately by the end of June)

I want to thank Premium WP and Felix.

    Robert
