This is a collection of new premium WordPress themes released by independent theme shops in March 2016. Sadly we were pretty slack last month which means this March theme roundup is really late. But better late then never right?
On a side note, is it just me or are many WordPress theme shops really slowing down in releasing new themes? In the past theme shops would release a new theme just about every month. Today it seems new theme releases are becoming fairly irregular. I understand that a lot of shops now have a considerable collections of themes for sale so much more time and effort has to go into just maintaining and supporting them which makes developing and releasing new themes more difficult.
However is there something else going on also? Is the WordPress theme marketplace getting so saturated that there’s just not enough money these days in developing and selling WordPress themes? Is the ever increasing dominance and number of ‘cheap’ themes available on marketplaces like ThemeForest starting to have an impact on independent theme shops? Or is the quantity and quality of free themes now impacting on sales of premium (commercial) themes?
