Did you know that Automattic (the company behind WordPress) sell premium WordPress themes? Okay so it’s a well-known fact that Automattic have a Theme Team that build and sell premium themes on WordPress.com. However it’s probably not as well known they also sell premium WordPress themes for self hosted WordPress.org websites.
Automattic have a number of premium WordPress themes for sale on Creative Market. They’re exactly the same themes as the ones for sale on WordPress.com, but these are for self-hosted WordPress.org websites. Prices of their themes range from $75 up to $175, which seems quite expensive when compared to the price of themes from most other independent WordPress theme shops. However it’s exactly the same price they sell for on WordPress.com. Being created by the Automattic Theme Team they ‘should’ be really high quality themes that are coded to perfection following all WordPress standards.
